Romans 10:12-15 (Amplified Bible) [No one] for there is no distinction between Jew and Greek. The same Lord is Lord over all [of us] and He generously bestows His riches upon all who call upon Him [in faith]. For everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord [invoking Him as Lord] will be saved. But how are people to call upon Him Whom they have not believed [in Whom they have no faith, on Whom they have no reliance]? And how are they to believe in Him [adhere to, trust in, and rely upon Him] of Whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without a preacher? And how can men [be expected to] preach unless they are sent? As it is written, How beautiful are the feet of those who bring glad tidings! [How welcome is the coming of those who preach the good news of His good things!]
The Word claims that God sees no difference in Jew and Greek. The only distinction recognized by God is whether or not we accepted Jesus as our Savior. Jesus opened a path for us to have access to the Father. Everyone and anyone can have that access but they must go through Jesus. But someone must tell them about Jesus and what He did for us. I heard someone explain this as one beggar telling another beggar where to find food. With the awesome blessings bestowed on us how can we not tell the world what an awesome God He is. We cannot decide who deserves the salvation of Christ, we must testify to everyone and anyone. Jesus said to love our neighbor; we do not love their sin but that love testifies of Jesus.

Let My Life Bring Joy
Deuteronomy 30:6-9 (The Message) GOD, your God, will cut away the thick calluses on your heart and your children's hearts, freeing you to love GOD, your God, with your whole heart and soul and live, really live. GOD, your God, will put all these curses on your enemies who hated you and were out to get you. And you will make a new start, listening obediently to GOD, keeping all his commandments that I'm commanding you today. GOD, your God, will outdo himself in making things go well for you: you'll have babies, get calves, grow crops, and enjoy an all-around good life. Yes, GOD will start enjoying you again, making things go well for you just as he enjoyed doing it for your ancestors.
It is awesome to think that God would enjoy me. My kids can bring me great joy but if they can bring joy they can also bring sorrow, breaking my heart. I know that I can bring sorrow to God’s heart but my hope is to bring Him joy. Pleasing Him is my desire.
Dear Lord,
Show me how to bring You joy, bind me to Your will, let it be my will. Help me to know Your heart. Lord, thank You for the opportunity to bring You joy, use me. I love You, in Jesus Name, amen.

Old Fashoined Altar
Genesis 12:8 (The Message) He moved on from there to the hill country east of Bethel and pitched his tent between Bethel to the west and Ai to the east. He built an altar there and prayed to GOD.
Why are you not going down to the altar! Do you realize that going to the altar is a sacrifice of worship? Yes you can talk to God anywhere but even Jesus in the garden of Gethsemane prayed to the Father. From Genesis to Revelation there are passages mentioning an altar and calling on the Lord. This is not something that was removed by Jesus’ death. We no longer have to go to a human priest to inquire of the Lord or have him offer sacrifices for our sins; Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice. There is nothing to keep you from going to the altar but you and your pride. The altar is where we strip away our pride and lay out everything before God. We do this whether or not people are looking, it is not for show. When you step out to get to that pew it is just you and God, if someone else is looking then maybe God is working on them to do the same and you are opening the opportunity for them. Going down to the altar is not about salvation only, it is about submitting yourself to your King. If you deny Him here the Bible says He will say He never knew you, depart. Talk to Him constantly but every opportunity you get to submit to Him at an altar you better get down there. If the only thing you do is say, “thank You for saving me,” then that sacrifice maybe enough however if He leads you to stay and pray it through then do it. That time is His and you not making that sacrifice is like robbing God. Get down to the altar and pray!

My Load is Enough
Numbers 9:8 (New International Version) Moses answered them, "Wait until I find out what the LORD commands concerning you."
Sometimes we pick up things that are not ours, but if you did this without praying about it then you could be in trouble. Have you ever committed to a task that you really were not gifted to do? I have taken on responsibilities because no one else would do it, or so I thought. Later I found out that someone else was just about to accept the task when I had opened up my mouth. I burdened myself with a task when God had someone else line up for the job, so I was doing things in my own strength without God’s help. If only I would have sought the Lord, He would have told me just to wait. I did not give Him time to talk to the other person; I did not trust Him to take care of things. It is good to walk where God guides and trust Him when He says to wait. My load is enough and I certainly do not need to add things that are not in God’s will.

What's in Your Heart
Jude 1:14-21 (The Message) Enoch, the seventh after Adam, prophesied of them: "Look! The Master comes with thousands of holy angels to bring judgment against them all, convicting each person of every defiling act of shameless sacrilege, of every dirty word they have spewed of their pious filth." These are the "grumpers," the bellyachers, grabbing for the biggest piece of the pie, talking big, saying anything they think will get them ahead. But remember, dear friends, that the apostles of our Master, Jesus Christ, told us this would happen: "In the last days there will be people who don't take these things seriously anymore. They'll treat them like a joke, and make a religion of their own whims and lusts." These are the ones who split churches, thinking only of themselves. There's nothing to them, no sign of the Spirit! But you, dear friends, carefully build yourselves up in this most holy faith by praying in the Holy Spirit, staying right at the center of God's love, keeping your arms open and outstretched, ready for the mercy of our Master, Jesus Christ. This is the unending life, the real life!
We will be held accountable for our actions. Everything we do and do not do will be held up against our perfect example, Jesus. There are times when we thought no one was watching that will testify against us in judgment. When we accepted Christ as our Savior, we say that we will follow Him. Yet there are so many who profess to be followers of Christ yet truly only follow after their own personal agenda. What is your agenda, are you following Christ or your own desires? Instead of asking “What’s in your wallet” I am asking what is in your heart?

For the Good of All
1 Kings 3:26-27 (Amplified Bible) Then the mother of the living child said to the king, for she yearned over her son, O my lord, give her the living baby, and by no means slay him. But the other said, Let him not be mine or yours, but divide him. Then the king said, Give her [who pleads for his life] the living baby, and by no means slay him. She is the child's mother.
The love of a mother surpassed even the judgment of the king. The true mother acted selflessly by wanting to spare the life of her child even though it meant her giving her child away. In today’s society we are taught to think of ourselves above even our own children. We have thrown them away by abortions in order to pursue our own life goals and ambitions. We take them to daycare or set them in front of TVs so we can be free. We forget that children are a gift from God, a blessing. The father was not there to protect his child and that is not right either. Our job as parents is to protect, provide and love the children and raise them to become parents like we were to them. Society has raised kids to be less than the kind of parents theirs were so instead of improving society they have made things worse. If what you are doing doesn’t make things better but worse, then stop doing it. It is time for us to wise-up, if we want a better America then for the Good of all we must improve it, one child at a time.
