Gaurding Your Testimony

Revelation 12:10-11 (Amplified Bible) Then I heard a strong (loud) voice in heaven, saying, Now it has come--the salvation and the power and the kingdom (the dominion, the reign) of our God, and the power (the sovereignty, the authority) of His Christ (the Messiah); for the accuser of our brethren, he who keeps bringing before our God charges against them day and night, has been cast out! And they have overcome (conquered) him by means of the blood of the Lamb and by the utterance of their testimony, for they did not love and cling to life even when faced with death [holding their lives cheap till they had to die for their witnessing].

Protect your testimony! Don’t let your guard down one minute, satan comes to steal kill and destroy. He cannot take you from God’s hands but he can destroy your testimony. I know several people in the ministry who let their guard down, they did not do anything wrong but when they relaxed their guard satan used someone else to cast a shadow of doubt to their faithfulness to the Lord. Those people did not waiver however their testimony is now changed because of what others have said about them. When we were doing youth work in a church, we had a policy of no closed doors and never alone with the kids. This took away the opportunity for accusations from anyone who wanted to ruin our testimony. When we leave room for satan, he will take that and use it for our harm. But God can take what satan meant for our harm turn it around and use it for our good and God’s glory. Do not leave room for doubt because in the church most people believe us to be guilty even after we are proven innocent. If you know someone who has been accused of something, first pray ask God for His heart in the situation, then follow God’s heart.

Love and God Bless,
